Baby Pratha arrived at our Mumbai centre when she was just three weeks old, with a cleft lip and palate.

Our team assessed her condition and began PNAM—Presurgical Nasoalveolar Molding—a specialised intervention that gently reshapes the gums, lip segments, and nose before surgery. Week after week, Pratha adapted to the process with calm resilience, and her progress was steady and encouraging.

By the end of three months, her cleft segments had improved significantly, and she was ready for the first major step in her treatment plan. On 13 September 2025, she underwent cleft lip repair (cheiloplasty) at Shree Mahavir Jain Hospital, Thane, performed by IHF in partnership with Operation Smile. The totally free of cost surgery was successful, and her recovery was smooth.

Today, Pratha is thriving—more comfortable, more expressive, and meeting each milestone with remarkable strength. Her journey reflects the power of early intervention and  skilled care.
