Mohd Muzammal
Thirteen-year-old Mohd Muzammal from Poonch had spent most of his childhood hiding his ear deformity, avoiding attention and carrying a quiet burden of low confidence. His father, a daily-wage labourer, could not afford the reconstructive surgery his son needed, but the family held on to hope.
That hope was realised on 24 June 2025, when IHF performed Muzammal’s ear reconstruction completely free of cost, supported by the Great Eastern CSR Foundation. What once felt impossible became a life-changing turning point.
The surgery was successful, and Muzammal’s appearance — and confidence — have improved significantly. His father calls it a blessing that lifted both emotional and financial strain from the family. Today, Muzammal attends school without hesitation, embracing a future marked by self-assurance and renewed optimism.
